Services

An initial consultation will be provided free of charge to discuss the general parameters of Medicare, Medicare Supplements/Medigap and any general questions you might have regarding coverage. Types of information covered may include:

  • Why consider a Medicare Supplement or Medigap coverage?
  • What types of coverage are available?
  • How do Medicare Parts A, B, C and D differ?
  • When is the correct time to obtain coverage?
  • What are the differences between deductibles, coinsurance and copayments?
  • What do these programs cover and not cover?

Knowing all of this, it may still seem confusing. Every person is different, and there is no “one plan that fits all.” Once you are able to see the differences between plans, and the costs of each feature offered, you can make an informed decision regarding your present and future health care needs.

The second consultation is a one-on-one discussion designed to help you make the best decision possible. For a reasonable fee, in this second consultation, I will ask you for your personal health history and we will determine your anticipated future health needs, and your goals for a healthy and productive retirement. Good health allows you to enjoy life and live it to the fullest. I will answer any questions you may have and then help you to determine which health plan will work best for you and your spouse. There are so many plans, each with different features, and each with different costs. One or two plans may stand out as the best value for your investment. I will show you how to evaluate each plan for your current and future health care requirements. The final decision will be yours and only yours.

This is one of the most important decisions that you will need to make prior to retirement and you need to be well informed to make it! You have nothing to lose by making the first call. I hope to hear from you in the near future.
